There are more than a million stories on our shelves—but the story of the bookstore itself is one of our favorites.

Flux City stopped by to chat with John King, longtime manager Deb, manager Chris, and veteran bookseller Marley—who’s been part of the store for over 30 years—about what makes this place so special.

From the early days of selling books out of a car trunk to building this four-story maze of literature, the conversation spans decades of discovery.
